  A–Z Google Analytics glossary covering the most important GA4 terms in simple language. A — Acquisition The process of attracting users to your website or app. GA4 includes User acquisition and Traffic acquisition reports. B — Bounce Rate The percentage of sessions that were not engaged sessions . In GA4, it is essentially the opposite of Engagement Rate. C — Campaign A marketing initiative used to identify and measure traffic from specific promotional activities. D — Dimensions Attributes used to describe your data, such as Country, Device category, Page title, or Traffic source . E — Engagement Rate The percentage of sessions that were engaged sessions. An engaged session generally lasts more than 10 seconds, includes a key event, or has at least two page/screen views.
