A

  • Acquisition: How users arrive at your website (e.g., search, social, ads).
  • Active Users: Users who have engaged with your site or app within a given time frame.
  • Average Engagement Time: The average time users actively spend on your site.

B

  • Bounce Rate: Percentage of visitors who leave after viewing only one page (in GA4, replaced by engagement metrics).

C

  • Conversion: A completed desired action (e.g., purchase, signup).
  • Conversion Rate: Percentage of users who complete a conversion.
  • Channels: Traffic sources grouped (Organic Search, Direct, Referral, Social).

D

  • Direct Traffic: Visitors who come by typing your URL or using bookmarks.

E

  • Engagement Rate: Percentage of sessions that are considered engaged (e.g., longer than 10 seconds, have conversions, or multiple page views).
  • Events: User interactions tracked (clicks, downloads, video plays).

G

  • Google Signals: Data from users signed into Google accounts used for cross-device tracking.

I

  • Impressions: Number of times your content is shown (mainly from Search Console integration).

L

  • Landing Page: The first page a user visits on your website.

M

  • Medium: The general category of the traffic source (e.g., organic, CPC, email).

  • New Users: First-time visitors to your website.

P

  • Pageviews: Total number of pages viewed.
  • Pages per Session: Average number of pages viewed in one visit.

R

  • Referral Traffic: Visitors coming from other websites.

S

  • Session: A group of user interactions within a given time frame.
  • Source: The specific origin of traffic (e.g., Google, Facebook).

T

  • Traffic: Users visiting your website.

U

  • Users: Total number of unique visitors.
